Kathmandu. The stock market has improved by double digits. The index, which measures the market, increased by 28.73 points to sit at 2,639.37 points.

A total of 1,24,59,951 units of shares of 335 companies were traded at Rs 6.47 billion.

All the sub-indices of the sub-indices were in the green. Shares of 214 companies increased while 37 companies declined.

There was a positive circuit in the prices of 6 companies in the trade. These include Sagar Distillery, SY Panel, Srinagar Agritech Industries, Bandipur Cable Car, Ruru Hydropower Project and Barahi Hydropower.

Shivam Cement Ltd is on the top position on the basis of turnover.

The company’s shares worth Rs 38,69,50,347 were traded. Bandipur Cable Car and SY Panel came second and third respectively.
