Kathmandu.  La Cienda Barra e Cocina Latina has been launched with the aim of offering a modern Latin American food and beverage experience at the Moxie Hotel in Kathmandu. Inspired by Mexico’s traditional Acienda, the restaurant combines food, drink, art and décor in one place.

The interior décor of this restaurant has been designed by Pablo Castellanos Studio, which presents the traditional Asienda architecture with a modern perspective.TAG_OPEN_p_9 It features arches, artistic rugs, lime-painted walls, carved wooden panels, and vibrant furniture that reflect the energy and culture of Mexico and Latin America. The moonlit main beverage room makes the entire space more visually appealing.

Art is also given special importance in this place.TAG_OPEN_p_8 A special artwork by Mexican artist Brenda Roa titled “El Sol el El Ave” is on display, adding cultural depth to give La Acienda a distinct identity from ordinary restaurants.

La TAG_OPEN_p_7 Acienda is a concept-based eatery inspired by memory, travel, and cultural exchange. Located inside the new Moxie Hotel in Kathmandu, this venue takes guests on a journey through dishes from various countries of Latin America. The basis of this trip is the personal experiences of Mexican chef Martín Hernández Hernández, the geography visited, and the flavors there. The menu ranges from traditional Mexican tacos to fresh, vibrant Peruvian ceviche dishes. In addition, special flavors inspired by the chef’s travels across Latin America are also presented. Each dish carries a story, and each tequila, mezcal, or mixed drink adds a new chapter to the story, giving guests a sense beyond the food.
