Kathmandu. Janakpurdham Sub-Metropolitan City has allocated an annual revised budget of Rs 2.46 billion for the current fiscal year 2082÷83.
The fourteenth municipal assembly (winter) meeting held here today allocated the annual revised budget. Presenting the budget report, Deputy Mayor Kishori Sah said that the budget has been presented on equalization, conditional, complementary, special, revenue distribution, inland revenue and also of the last fiscal year.
According to the report, the sub-metropolis has earned Rs 994.125 million and spent Rs 4107,808 so far in the current fiscal year. Earlier, the estimated income and expenditure details approved by the 13th municipal assembly for the current fiscal year are in implementation.
The municipal assembly meeting today decided to provide Rs 5,000 as a monthly dearness allowance to all contractual service employees working under the municipality from January 15.
The meeting presided over by Mayor of the Sub-Metropolitan City Manoj Sah was attended by local people’s representatives and employees of the sub-metropolis.
