Kathmandu. In the last fiscal year, Nepal Life Insurance (NLIC) has paid Rs 2,30,05,107 to the Chief Executive Officer (CEO).

The insurance company has paid this amount to the CEO in the form of annual salary, allowances, bonus and other headings. The state has received 39 percent tax on this salary.

Similarly, the insurance company has paid Rs 79.89 lakh as allowance to the Board of Directors in the last FY. The insurance company has paid Rs 68.49 lakh to the promoters as allowance.

Similarly, Rs 11.40 lakh has been paid as telephone, mobile and newspaper expenses.

The insurance company provides Rs 22,000 per meeting allowance to the chairman of the board of directors and Rs 21,000 to its directors.

Kamlesh Kumar Agrawal, Shakti Kumar Golyan, Bimal Prasad Dhakal, Krishna Raj Lamichhane and Sharmila Shrestha Maharjan are the directors of the company.
