The AGM of 14 companies including Nabil Bank was held today.

Kathmandu. The annual general meeting of 14 companies has been called on Monday.

Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE)-listed banks, microfinance, hydropower companies, and other companies are organizing the AGM virtually in Chitwan along with Kathmandu Valley.

Some of the companies that held the AGM today have paid dividends, while some have left the shareholders empty-handed.

CDAC and Clearing Limited has decided to distribute 100 percent cash dividend to its shareholders. Similarly, Emerging Nepal Limited has proposed to issue 5.26315 percent cash and Melung Khola Hydropower Company will issue right shares in the ratio of 1:0.70 even though it has not paid dividend.

Similarly, Synergy Power Development Limited has provided 10 percent bonus share and 0.52 percent cash for tax purposes, Upper Solu Hydro Electric Company, Vision Energy and Power, Butwal Power Company has provided 6 percent cash dividend, Diprox Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha has 5 percent cash and 10 percent bonus, Nabil Bank has 12.5 percent cash share, City Hotel, Himalayan Laghubitta Bittiya Company has 6.65 percent bonus share. Similarly, Modi Energy Limited and Kalika Power Company have proposed to issue 7% bonus shares and 0.36% cash dividend.

The agenda of the AGM includes approval of the annual report and financial statements for the fiscal year 2081÷82, appointment of auditors, election of directors, distribution of dividend, cash and bonus shares, issuance of right shares and IPO, capital increase of the company, name change and merger÷acquisition.
