Kathmandu. The National Cooperatives Federation of Nepal (NCFN) has spent Rs 19,63,836 as meeting allowance in the last fiscal year. According to the federation, none of the directors of the federation have received remuneration in the last fiscal year.

According to the FNCCI, the office-bearers and members of the Board of Directors and Audit Supervision Committee draw Rs 2,500 per meeting, the office-bearers and members of the executive committee÷secretariat get Rs 2,000 per meeting allowance and the office-bearers and members of the sub-committees get Rs 1,500 per meeting.

Similarly, operators coming from outside the Kathmandu Valley have been paying Rs 2,500 per day for coming to and from the committee meeting and the cost of air and bus fare for two days.

In the fiscal year 2008/12, a total of 10 meetings including physical and non-physical and during the same period, the Secretariat Committee met 11 times, the Advisory Committee met 1 time, the Information and Publication Sub-Committee met 1 time, the Dues Recovery Sub-Committee met 1 time, the Foreign Training Program Participant Selection Sub-Committee met 2 times, the Award Selection Sub-Committee met 2 times, the Gender Equality Sub-Committee met 1 time, The meeting of the Financial Administration Procedure Amendment Sub-Committee has been held twice.

Similarly, Staff Administration Procedure Amendment Sub-Committee met 2 times, Bylaw Amendment Sub-Committee met 1 time, Cooperative Award Directive Amendment Sub-Committee met 1 time, Job Fulfillment Sub-Committee met 8 times, Expert Group met 1 time, Cooperative Anthem Selection Technical Sub-Committee met 2 times, Program and Budget Draft Sub-Committee met 3 times, Cooperative Awareness and Cooperative Year 2025 Project Sub-Committee met 1 time. The Regulatory Standards Revision Task Force has met 4 times and the Provincial Coordination Sub-Committee has met 6 times. In the fiscal year 2081/82, the Audit Supervision Committee (PAC) had met four times.
