Kathmandu. Non-Resident Nepali Association (NRNA) Central Vice-Chairman Robin Prasad Sherchan has announced his candidacy for the post of president.

Sherchan, who hails from Japan, has announced his candidacy for the post of president for the 12th general convention of the association. Sherchan is preparing to contest the election by forming an inclusive team.

The election scheduled for the last week of February will be held in the last week of February, so far with another vice-president living in the UK, Dr. Hemraj Sharma has also announced his candidacy. Dr. Madhav Kumar from the United States for the post of President. Keshav Poudel is also rumored to be in the fray. Sherchan, who has become popular among Nepalis around the world in a short span of time, is a strong contender.

Sherchan is a well-known name in social work. Robin, who arrived in Japan 36 years ago in search of work, is a successful businessman who studied there and established his business there. Some have even said that he was in a hurry. Now Robin is contacting Nepalis all over the world. They are asking for advice.

“Some people are worried about me. New faces, soon. This concern is justified,” Sherchan says, “But those who know me for a long time know very well about me.” I have been supporting this campaign for a long time. In the eleventh general convention, Nepalis from all over the world loved him with enthusiasm. It’s not new, it’s my old face. ’

Sherchan feels that it is time to take a position and play an active role. That’s why he decided to go to a responsible position like president. He believes that one should go to the institution to give, not to give.

“I’m capable,” he says. I have also earned money to help in social work. It is my wish to do something for my motherland and for the Nepali diaspora. My only path forward is social service. That’s why I have decided to lead once. ’

With the help of relatives, elders and classmates, Robin hopes that many non-resident Nepalis will support his candidacy. And he will be able to lead a global organization that works for Nepalis.

Robin’s candidacy has been highly regarded for his cooperative spirit and affable nature. Many people have responded positively to his candidacy. They are encouraging them by pledging to help.

“I have spent 36 years of my life in a foreign land. But I am in between Nepal and Nepalis. “I have helped as much as I can for the Nepalis living here or in my homeland,” Sherchan said, adding, “There is still a lot of work to be done.” There are things to be done for the country. There are things to be done for Nepalis. There are many things to be done for Non-Resident Nepalis. ’

This has not only enhanced his personality but has also made his decision to run for the leadership of NRNA meaningful.
