. Bhujung Hydropower Company (BHP) is going to issue its initial public offering (IPO) today.
According to Kumari Capital, the issue manager of the company, the allotment will take place at 9 am today.
A total of 26,65,174 investors have applied for 3,07,84,820 units of shares in the IPO. In the IPO, 83,000 people will get 10 units of shares each through the lucky draw. 25,82,174 investors will be left empty-handed.
The company was allowed to issue 20 percent of the issued capital of Rs 1 billion i.e. 2 million units of shares worth Rs 200 million. Out of the total shares, 1 million units have been issued to the locals of the project affected area and 1 lakh units to the Nepalese living abroad.
Similarly, the company has allotted 20,000 units of shares to the employees and 50,000 units to the mutual funds. The company is issuing 8,30,000 units of shares worth Rs 8.30 crore to the general public.
