Kathmandu. The stock market closed higher on Thursday, the last trading day of the week. Today, the NEPSE index increased by 8.97 points to close at 2,671.07 points. Likewise, the Sensitive Float Index has increased by 1.51 points, while the Float Index has increased by 0.85 points and the Sensitive Float Index has increased by 0.56 points.

Today, along with the stock market, the trading volume has also increased. Shares worth Rs 8.69 billion were traded in the market today.

Out of 13 sub-groups, the indices of eight sub-groups have fallen. The index of the remaining 5 sub-groups declined. Today, the index of the development bank sub-group has increased the most. The index of this sub-group increased by 1.18 percent.

Shares of Madhya Bhotekoshi Hydropower Company Ltd were traded at positive circuit level today. Similarly, the share price of Rasuwagadhi Hydropower Company has also increased by 10 percent.

On the basis of transaction amount, Ngadi Group Power is in the top position today. Shares worth Rs 70.53 crore were traded on the day.
