Kathmandu. KATHMANDU: Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB) has provided relief to borrowers who are unable to repay their loans.

The central bank has made a new provision after conducting a half-yearly review of the monetary policy.

The review reads that the existing provision of recovering arrears by removing the borrower from the blacklist for up to 6 months would be effectively implemented if the borrowers who are unable to repay the loan immediately due to circumstantial reasons would not be included in the blacklist and the borrowers in the blacklisted would submit a valid reason to repay the loan.
