Kathmandu. Nepali Congress (NC) President Gagan Kumar Thapa has said 41 laws should be amended for the construction of road infrastructure.
He said this while addressing an election rally in Butwal. “41 laws need to be amended for the timely construction of road infrastructures,” he said, adding, “We need policies and systems for the development of road infrastructures. ’
He expressed concern over the empty houses in the country as the infrastructure was being developed in the country. “It’s been a long way off. The mountains are emptying. The houses are empty. There is no point in developing a city by emptying the hills,” he said. There are no students. There are only monkeys in the village now. He said that he has brought plans ranging from developing infrastructure to chasing away monkeys without enticing anyone for the upcoming elections scheduled for March 4.
He added that some good works carried out by the previous governments should also be taken as achievements. He said that Nepal has seen all kinds of agitations by the Maoists, Madhesi, people, Tharu and Nepal is sandwiched between India and China. Thapa said that all these challenges should be taken care of.
He claimed that almost all the parties have joined the government in recent times and no one is ready to take credit for the work that has not been done. Even though the RSP has taken a few seats, it does not take any responsibility. It’s just abusive.
He claims that the politics of alliance has not worked well for 5-6 years. He said that if his party forms the government, a list of works to be done every month will be prepared and everyone will be informed about the works carried out.
