Kathmandu. Four people were killed and six others wounded when an Israeli plane struck a residential building in the eastern Lebanese city of Baalbek.

Rescue teams were still working to retrieve people trapped under the rubble of the damaged building, the Lebanese State News Agency reported.

The Israeli military had already issued an evacuation warning for Lebanese residents.

Earlier, Lebanon’s health ministry said six people had been killed and eight others wounded in Israeli airstrikes targeting the areas of Aramon and Saadiyat in Mount Lebanon governorate.
