Kathmandu. KATHMANDU: A person has died after being hit by a tipper at New Baneshwor in Kathmandu on Sunday.

The deceased has been identified as the scooter rider Badri Koirala, a resident of Alokanthali of Inaruwa municipality-5, Bhaktapur, according to Superintendent of Police (SP) Pawan Bhattarai, spokesperson at the Kathmandu Police Range.

He died while undergoing treatment at the Civil Hospital.

It’s 8:45 a.m. today. The tipper carrying garbage (2 Ka 3229) had hit the government scooter (State 3-001 Ba 945).
