Kathmandu. As of 2 pm on Thursday, 6.2 million votes have been cast across the country. A total of 6,220,042 votes were cast till 2 pm in 165 constituencies across the country. As of 2 p.m., 33 percent of the votes were cast.
Voting begins at 7:00 am. The highest voter turnout was recorded in Kathmandu Valley at 47 per cent. Gandaki Province recorded 39 per cent voter turnout.
Voting is taking place at 10,967 polling stations across the country. Only 33 percent of the votes have been cast so far.
