Kathmandu. A total of 42.90 per cent voter turnout was recorded in Mugu district till 1 pm, according to the Election Commission.
A total of 15,705 voters including 8,097 women and 7,608 men cast their votes in the district, EC Spokesperson Narayan Prasad Bhattarai said. Voting began at 7:00 am in Mugu and is still underway.
There are a total of 36,031 voters in Mugu. There are 67 polling stations and 69 polling centres in the district. There are seven candidates in total.
