Kathmandu. Around 45 per cent of the votes were cast across the country till 4 pm.

A total of 84,60,677 voters across the country have cast their votes in the election to the House of Representatives, which began at 7 am today.

Out of 1,89,03,689 voters, 8,460,677 cast their votes, according to the Election Commission.

According to the Election Commission, 54 per cent votes were cast in Kathmandu Valley, 48 per cent in Gandaki and 48 per cent in Karnali Province.

Similarly, 37 per cent votes were cast in Madhes Province, 47 per cent in Bagmati Province, 47 per cent in Lumbini, 46 per cent in Koshi and 39 per cent in Sudurpaschim Province.
