Tehrathum. Nepali Congress candidate Santosh Subba has been elected as a member of the House of Representatives from Tehrathum district. Subba secured 11,561 votes, according to Chief Election Officer Dil Kumar Bardewa.

He defeated his nearest rival Bhanu Bhakta Dhakal of CPN-UML by 879 votes. CPN-UML leader Dhakal garnered 10,682 votes.

In Tehrathum district, Surendra Karki of Rastriya Swatantra Party got 7,737 votes and Subindra Kumar Limbu of Labour and Culture Party got 5,200 votes.
