Kathmandu. KATHMANDU — Sunil KC of Rastriya Swatantra Party has been elected to the House of Representatives from Kathmandu-2.
He garnered 34,238 votes, according to the Election Commission.
His nearest rival Kabir Sharma of Nepali Congress got 8,874 votes.
Rastriya Prajatantra Party (RPP) candidate Kunti Devi Pokharel secured 5,210 votes. In the previous election, Sobita Gautam of Rastriya Samajwadi Party had won from the same constituency.
