RSP candidates win in all three constituencies in Kaski

Kathmandu. The Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) candidates have won in all the three constituencies in Kaski district. According to the final results announced today, the candidates of the Rastriya Samajwadi Party won in all the three constituencies by a wide margin.

In Kaski constituency-1, Khadakraj Poudel ‘Ganesh’ of Rastriya Samajwadi Party (RSP) was elected with 39,883 votes. His main rival was NC’s Tilak Ranabhat who got 11,214 votes. Similarly, Bain Bahadur Adhikari Chhetri of CPN-UML got 10,429 votes and Raj Kaji Gurung of Nepali Communist Party got 2,479 votes.

Likewise, in Kaski-2, Rastriya Prajatantra Party (RSP)’s Uttam Prasad Poudel garnered 31,911 votes while his nearest rival UML’s Rashmi Acharya got 7,493 votes. Likewise, Nepali Congress’ Madhav Bastola got 6,500 votes, according to Chief Election Officer Himlal Belbase.

In Kaski-3, Bina Gurung of Rastriya Samajwadi Party won with 37,750 votes. His nearest rival was NC’s Manoj Gurung who got 12,780 votes and UML’s Damodar Poudel got 7,906 votes.

Out of the total 308,572 voters in Kaski, 188,076 votes were cast. According to the State Election Office, 70,150 votes were cast in Kaski-1, 52,519 in Kaski-2 and 65,407 in Kaski-3.
