UML’s Mahar wins in Bajhang, NC’s Snehi loses

Bajhang. CPN-UML candidate Ain Bahadur Mahar has won the House of Representatives election in Bajhang.

Mahar defeated Nepali Congress candidate Prakash Rasaili Snehi by a margin of 2,239 votes. Out of 57,994 votes cast, Mahar garnered 18,543 votes while his nearest rival Rasaili garnered 16,304 votes.

Likewise, Shailesh Kumar Singh of Rastriya Swatantra Party received 9,263 votes while Min Bahadur Kunwar of Nepali Communist Party received 9,757 votes, according to Chief Election Officer Subarna Man Banepali.

Likewise, CPN (Maoist) candidate Bharat Malla got 504 votes, Rastriya Prajatantra Party candidate Bishwa Prakash Jethara got 405 votes and Nepal Workers and Peasants Party candidate Dal Bahadur Bohara got 41 votes.
