Kathmandu. Mero Kisan Limited has started the process of issuing an IPO to the general public. Prabhu Capital Limited has been appointed as the issue manager for the company. The agreement was signed between the company and Capital at its office in Kamaladi on Monday.

Established with the objective of expanding services in the agriculture sector through technology, Mero Kisan has been directly collaborating with the farmers to provide services to the consumers through digital platform along with seed production, collection, storage and distribution.

The company is based in Patihani, Chitwan. An agro processing centre and dairy are being set up on 5 bigha of land. The government has set a target to bring the processing plant into operation within the current fiscal year and bring the dairy into operation within the first quarter of next year.
