Kathmandu. KATHMANDU: Former Prime Minister and CPN-UML Chairman KP Sharma Oli has been admitted to the Tribhuvan University Teaching Hospital (TUTH) on Monday.
Oli, who has undergone two kidney transplants, has been admitted to bed number 501 of the hospital citing complications due to multiple health issues, according to hospital sources.
According to a hospital official, preliminary tests showed that Oli was suffering from chest pain and palpitation. He is currently under an ECG monitor and his heart rate is being monitored continuously.
Specialist doctors related to kidney have also been closely monitoring Oli’s health. Earlier, he was kept under observation in the same bed during the treatment after kidney transplant.
He would be produced before the court on Sunday for the extension of the remand and before that he was kept at Maharajgunj-based Battalion No. 2.
