Kathmandu. The 39-km section from Jamune to Prithivi Chowk of Pokhara has been blacktopped.
According to Sahanshila Kayastha, an engineer at the Muglin-Pokhara Road Project (Western Section), around 350 meters of the road has been blacktopped except for two lanes. The construction of the service lane is underway.
Similarly, the construction of a four-lane ‘signature’ bridge over the Seti River is going on at a cost of Rs 1.07 billion. The Chinese company is working with the aim of completing the project by this year. The Muglin-Pokhara road was expanded with the loan from the Asian Development Bank.
