Kathmandu. The stock market rose on Wednesday.  On Wednesday, the NEPSE index increased by 2.66 points to close at 2,780.25 points. Likewise, the sensitive float index increased by 1.93 points, while the float index increased by 0.41 points and the sensitive float index increased by 0.61 points.

Along with the stock market, the trading volume has also increased today. A total of 1,35,21,000 shares worth Rs 5.73 billion were traded in the market on Tuesday.

Out of 13 sub-groups, the indices of seven sub-groups have increased while the indices of other six sub-groups have decreased. The non-life insurance sub-group index increased by 3.37 percent on the day. Similarly, the life insurance sub-group index increased by more than 1.5 percent on the day. The index of other sub-groups fell the most by 2.36 percent.
