Kathmandu. Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) has announced applications for the vacant post of Chief Executive Officer (CEO). According to the Ministry of Finance, 8 applications have been registered till the deadline for submission of applications (August 10).

According to Amrit Lamsal, spokesperson of the Ministry of Finance, the shortlist of the best candidates will be prepared after evaluating the action plan through experts. The shortlisted candidates will have to present their work plan and participate in the interview. Spokesperson Lamsal said that NEPSE will get a new leadership after the entire selection process is completed.

Earlier, the recommendation committee had opened applications from August 26 to August 12. For the post of CEO, the candidate should have a Master’s degree in Economics, Commerce, Finance, Management or Information Technology. Likewise, at least 15 years of work experience in the capital market or financial sector and seven years of experience in senior managerial level are mandatory criteria.
