Global IME Bank’s assets rise by 13.84 percent to reach Rs 8.8 trillion: Global IME and Rastriya Banijya Bank compete

Kathmandu. The assets of the commercial banks have increased by 13.84 percent. As of mid-July of the last fiscal year, the assets of the banks reached Rs 8.829 trillion.

In the same period of the previous fiscal year, it had been Rs. 7.756 trillion.

Global IME Bank is the richest bank in terms of assets. Global’s wealth increased by 19.28 percent to Rs 820.77 billion. In the same period last year, the bank’s assets stood at Rs 688.08 billion.

Similarly, Rastriya Banijya Bank has the second highest number of assets. The bank’s assets increased by 32.95 percent to Rs 778.61 billion. In the same period of the previous fiscal year, it was Rs 585.64 billion.

Nabil Bank is the third richest person. The bank’s assets increased by 15.38 percent to Rs 734.73 billion.

Similarly, the net worth of Nepal Investment Mega Bank increased by 8.96 percent to Rs 613.34 billion and that of Laxmi Sunrise Bank increased by 15.38 percent to Rs 511.80 billion.

Likewise, the net worth of Kumari Bank has increased by 11.01 per cent to Rs 490.33 billion and Nepal Bank by 21.53 per cent to Rs 484.45 billion, Nepal Bank by 20.27 per cent to Rs 450.76 billion and Himalayan Bank by 12.58 per cent to Rs 417.99 billion. Prabhu Bank’s assets have increased by 1.60 percent to Rs 412.08 billion, while the assets of Agricultural Development Bank have increased by 16.21 percent to Rs 420.13 billion and NIC Asia Bank has increased by 5.08 percent to Rs 393.87 billion.

Similarly, Everest Bank grew by 5.53 per cent to Rs 383.75 billion, NMB Bank by 15.02 per cent to Rs 397.38 billion, Siddhartha Bank by 15.03 per cent to Rs 389.73 billion and Prime Bank by 6.19 per cent to Rs 336.67 billion.

Similarly, the net worth of Sanima Bank has increased by 10.50 percent to Rs 291.21 billion and Nepal SBI Bank by 6.67 percent to Rs 248.35 billion, Machhapuchchhre Bank by 17.91 percent to Rs 256.39 billion and Citizen Bank by 9.50 percent to Rs 268.68 billion. Standard Chartered Bank’s assets increased by 15.51 percent to Rs 180.06 billion.
