Kathmandu. On Friday, the last trading day of the week, the stock market rose moderately. On Friday, the NEPSE index increased by 2.64 points to close at 2,655.22 points.
Despite the rise in NEPSE, the turnover volume decreased today. On Thursday, shares worth Rs 4.72 billion were traded at Rs 3.46 billion.
Today, out of 13 sub-groups, the indices of 12 sub-groups have increased and the index of 1 sub-group has decreased. Today, the indices of all sub-groups except other sub-groups have increased marginally. The index of other sub-groups has decreased by 0.88 percent today.
The share price of Crest Micro Life Insurance has increased by 14.08 percent on the day. Today, the share price of Beni Hydropower Project has increased by more than 5.5 percent, while the price of other stocks has increased by less than 3.5 percent.
