Kathmandu. Construction of a concrete bridge over Kayar River at Kalika municipality-10, Siddhi Tindobhan has begun. Mayor Binod Regmi laid the foundation stone of the bridge amidst a special function on Wednesday. A total of Rs 43,867,855 has been allocated for the bridge, he said.
The bridge is expected to be completed by January 15, 2083. The bridge will have a pre-stressed concrete bridge, a 40-meter span, six meters of the vehicle deck and a total width of 8.4 meters. Mayor Regmi said that the construction company has also agreed to construct 60 meters approach road on both sides of the bridge.
