Projects set up on the basis of political pressure removed: Finance Minister Khanal

Kathmandu. Finance Minister Rameshwor Khanal has said that the government has removed the projects that were put up for lack of proper utilization of resources on the basis of political pressure.

He said this at the 29th anniversary of the Society of Economic Journalists of Nepal (SEJON) and the award distribution ceremony.TAG_OPEN_div_9

He said that the government has increased the budget for projects of high importance of national priority and it has been done at a fast pace.TAG_OPEN_div_7 He said that the ex-specialist should take care to ensure that the taxpayer’s money is safe. He said that the government has prepared work procedure for this.

} He said that the policies and information given by the government will bring investment. He said that it is the responsibility of all to provide true and accurate information to the investors.
