Kathmandu. The government has made a provision that the transaction of Rs 5 lakh or more will not be allowed to do transactions in cash.
A meeting of the Council of Ministers held in Singha Durbar on Monday made this provision. This system will come into effect from January 1.
The government has fixed the limit for cash transactions from financial institutions or banking instruments while buying and selling services, goods or other transactions of Rs 5 lakh or more at a time from January 15.
