Persa. The Birgunj Customs Office has collected Rs 22.90 billion from the import of five types of petroleum products and Rs 10.10 billion from the import of vehicles and their spare parts in the first five months of the current fiscal year.

The office collected Rs 4.58 billion from iron and iron goods, Rs 4.25 billion from textile and Rs 3.17 billion from machinery and spare parts in the first four months of the current fiscal year.

Import of electric machinery, equipment and their spare parts has collected revenue of Rs 3.7 billion. Nepal imported goods worth Rs 284.89 billion from Birgunj in the first four months of the current fiscal year. The office collected Rs 75.59 billion in revenue in the current fiscal year.
