Kathmandu. Finance Minister Rameshwor Khanal has said that the attack on the private sector is not right. He said this at the 16th annual general meeting of the Association of Economic Journalists of Nepal (NAFIJ).
“The structures and property built by the private sector also belong to the Nepali people. The private sector has to leave after a certain time,” he said. Everyone should focus on protecting the private sector. ’
The Finance Minister said that if the law is not right, it can be improved, but if wrong steps are taken against the right people, it will be discouraged.
“The government is ready to punish anyone who has committed a crime. We should not comment on the roads, social media and media for that,” Khanal said.
He also said that the Genji movement is not only for economic prosperity. Corruption has increased tremendously, it has been promoted by the powerful people of the state and it should be stopped. And the service delivery should be transparent. They continue to demand this.
Stating that the election is inevitable, Finance Minister Khanal said, “Postponing the election in any way will take the country towards uncertainty. It affects many activities. Elections should be held on time at any cost. There should be a positive environment for this. The government is also working for this. ’
He said that the election would be held on time with the consent of all the parties and the general public. He said that the election should be made on time by going to the democratic exercise in the international arena in a safe, fearless and impartial manner.
He said that Nepal should not change its view as the international base is evaluating it well. He pointed out the need for the government to carry out reforms in the coming days to further improve the image of the government.
