Kathmandu. The 16th National Industrial Exhibition, Agriculture, Technology and Tourism Festival is going to be held in Butwal. The 16th National Industrial Expo, Agriculture, Technology and Tourism Festival 2082 is going to be organized by Rupandehi Industries Association under the patronage of Butwal Sub-Metropolitan City and Confederation of Nepalese Industries (CNI).
The theme of the 16th National Industrial Expo, Agriculture, Technology and Tourism Festival-2082 is “Basis for Building a Prosperous Nepal, Expansion of Domestic Entrepreneurship”. The Association has been organizing industrial expo for the first time in Nepal in 2045 BS and continuously since 2053 BS.
There will be 10 separate pavilions for domestic production, new technology, tourism and agricultural products in the expo. The newly constructed international exhibition center will have modern stalls. It will be very different from the decoration to the management and exhibitions that have been held so far. The main objective of the expo is to create a feeling among the consumers that domestic products should be used by showcasing and marketing only the products of domestic industries.
According to the association, every exhibition organized will always be a model or different. The Confederation of Nepalese Industries (CNI) is going to give more priority to the ‘Make in Nepal Swadeshi Campaign’ in the expo. Since the main objective of the expo is to promote domestic industries, only domestic products will be included in the expo.

– Internal and external industrial environment information
– Identification and promotion of export-oriented industries
– Encouraging young and women entrepreneurs

The expo will feature exploration of new technology, commercialization of agriculture, promotion of tourism, encouragement of youth entrepreneurs, creation of start-up self-employment, preservation of art and culture, seminar and interaction.
There will be around 500 stalls in the expo, including industrial technology, agriculture, handicraft, garment, bakery and confectionery, leather, footwear, food items, information technology, among others. Around 8 lakh visitors will visit the exhibition and transaction worth Rs 30 crore is expected.
