Kathmandu. The Tatopani border point will be opened from today. According to the Ministry of Industry, Commerce and Supplies, the border point will be opened from October 1 to 3.

According to the Ministry, only cargo vehicles will be allowed to move through the checkpoint.

The Tatopani transit point with China is to be opened temporarily for three days in order to ease the supply of goods and materials during the Dashain festival.

The border point is going to come into operation temporarily as part of the government’s initiative to facilitate the supply of essential goods during Dashain. It is expected to facilitate Nepal-China trade movement and help in the management of supplies during the festivals.
