Kathmandu. KATHMANDU: The ‘Make in Nepal-Swadeshi’ campaign is being implemented in collaboration with the Confederation of Nepalese Industries (CNI) and the Ministry of Industry, Commerce and Supplies.

The exhibition will be held for a day at the International Club, Sanepa, on coming Saturday. Based on the theme ‘Made in Nepal – Nepal’s Identity’, the exhibition aims to promote domestic production, enhance the capacity of industries and enterprises, and provide market access to domestic products.

Arrangements have been made for free stalls for small, medium and cottage industries and free entry for the general public. More than 3,000 participants are expected to participate in the program. More than 40 industries including agriculture and agro-technology, food and processed goods, textiles, handicrafts, art and industry, Ayurvedic and health-related products, decorative materials, tea and beverages will participate in the event.

They will have the opportunity to publicly showcase their products, interact directly with consumers and network with potential buyers, distributors and business partners. CNI President Birendra Raj Pandey said that the domestic market 2025 will highlight Nepali skills, innovation and entrepreneurship at the national level and encourage the consumption of domestic products.

The exhibition is expected to boost the morale of industrialists and entrepreneurs along with the government’s policy of promoting domestic production.
