Nepal Investment Mega Bank to merge 8 branches in Kathmandu Valley

Kathmandu. Nepal Investment Bank Limited (NIBL) has announced the merger of 8 branches in Kathmandu Valley. The bank is going to merge its branches in Lalitpur and 6 in Kathmandu and 2 in Lalitpur.

KATHMANDU: The bank has decided to relocate its branch at Naxal Narayanchaur, Kathmandu. Its distance is about 300 meters. Similarly, the bank is relocating its Khichapokhari branch to New Road. Its distance is 140 meters.

Similarly, the branch of Kumari Pati will be shifted to Lagankhel. Its distance is 200 meters.

The bank is going to merge its branch in Jawalakhel with another branch in Jawalakhel. Its distance is 300 meters.

The new branch in New Baneshwor of Kathmandu has been merged with another branch in New Baneshwor. It is 250 meters away.

The branch in Teku will be merged with the Tripureshwor branch. It is 100 meters away. The branch located at Chuchepati of Chabahil will be merged with Chabahil. Its distance is 300 meters.

The branch in Kalanki will be merged with another branch of Kalanki. Its distance is 200 meters.

According to the circular issued by Nepal Rastra Bank to the licensed institutions, the bank is going to merge 8 branches.

The merged branches will be operated from March 3, 2020 and banking transactions will be operated from each other.

The bank has requested the customers who have been doing banking transactions from the merger branch offices to resume their business after the merger.
