What is the exchange rate of foreign currency today?

Kathmandu. Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB) has fixed the exchange rate of foreign currency for today. Today, the buying rate of one US dollar has been fixed at Rs 143.15 and the selling rate is Rs 143.75.

Similarly, the selling rate of Euro 1 was set at Rs 168.90 and Rs 169.61, while the selling rate of UK pound sterling was set at Rs 193.37 and Rs 194.18 respectively.

The buying rate of one Australian dollar is 95.84 paise and the selling rate is 96.24 rupees, the selling rate of one Canadian dollar is 104.45 and the selling rate is 104.89 rupees.

Similarly, the buying rate of Japanese Yen 10 is 9.18 rupees and selling rate is 9.22 rupees, the selling rate of Chinese Yuan 1 is 20.37 and the selling rate is 20.45 rupees.

According to the central bank, the selling rate of Thai Dirham 1 is Rs 38.98 and the selling rate is Rs 39.14, the selling rate of Malaysian Ringat 1 is Rs 35.22 and the selling rate is Rs 35.37. The selling rate of Swedish kroner 1 has been fixed at Rs 15.60 and the selling rate of Danish kroner 1 has been fixed at Rs 22.61 and Rs 22.71.

The selling rate of Hong Kong Dollar 1 is Rs 18.41 and the selling rate is Rs 18.48, the selling rate of Kuwaiti Dinar 1 is 466.26 and the selling rate is 468.21 paise, the buying rate of Bahrain Dinar 1 is 379.65 and the selling rate is 381.24 paise. Similarly, the selling rate of Rs 100 has been fixed at Rs 160 and Rs 160.15 respectively.

Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB) has stated that the exchange rate can be revised at any time as per the need. However, the exchange rate fixed by the commercial bank may vary and the updated exchange rate will be available on the central bank’s website.
