Kathmandu. KATHMANDU: Nepal LP Gas Industry Association has celebrated its 27th anniversary. Secretary at the Ministry of Industry, Commerce and Supplies, Dr. Ram Prasad Ghimire, was the chief guest of the program.
Secretary Ghimire said that the main priority of the government is to ensure easy, safe and regular gas supply to the consumers. He also informed that policies reform works were underway to make the supply management more effective.
Diwan Bahadur Chand, president of Nepal LP Gas Industry Association, expressed his views on practical problems and challenges facing the gas industry. The meeting also decided to support Shiva Prasad Ghimire, the outgoing president of the Federation of Nepalese Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FNCCI) for the upcoming elections. He urged the presidents and representatives of all the substantive organizations present in the program to actively support the election.
On the occasion, Executive Director of Nepal Oil Corporation (NOC) Dr Chandika Prasad Bhatta said that the NOC wanted to move ahead by collaborating with businessmen. He said the NOC was continuously effortful to make the supply of petroleum products easy, regular and systematic.
On the occasion, former president of Nepal LP Gas Industry Association, Shiva Prasad Ghimire, underlined the need of expanding the pipeline to make the import of LP gas from India long-term, safe and cost-effective. KATHMANDU: Nepal LP Gas Industry Association has pledged to work in collaboration with all stakeholders for institutional strengthening of gas industry, improvement of supply system and responsible role of private sector.
