Global IME Bank to collaborate with DAI-UDAY Project for extending credit to micro enterprises

. Global IME Bank has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with DAI-Udaya Project to collaborate for financial access to Micro and Micro Enterprises (SMEs) in the Koshi Province.

The MOU was signed by Surendra Raj Regmi, Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Bank and Arun Rana, Chief of Party of Nepal.TAG_OPEN_div_10 After the agreement, the bank believes that the loan will be provided to various small and micro enterprises operating in Koshi Province in Sahajpur and employment will increase with the expansion of business of enterprises and entrepreneurs who are unable to expand their business due to lack of investment.

According to the agreement, the enterprises and businesses selected by the DAI-Udaya Project will receive loan from all branches of Global IME Bank in Sahajpur, Koshi Province.TAG_OPEN_div_8 As a bilateral initiative of Government of Nepal and Government of Switzerland, Project DAI-UDAY is being implemented in all districts of Koshi Province with technical support of Ministry of Economic Affairs and Planning of Koshi Province.

The DAI-UDAY project is facilitating the availability of loans and financing for business growth in Koshi Province including renewable energy, agro-processing, IT, tourism and manufacturing industries.TAG_OPEN_div_6
