Kathmandu. Bagmati Province Microfinance Member’s Conference is to be held on Tuesday. The conference is scheduled to be held on Friday.

Chief Executive Officer of Manushi Laghubitta Shova Bajracharya informed that microfinance organizations with central office in Bagmati Province will participate in the conference.

According to him, although such conference was organized at the national level in the past, it is being held for the first time at the state level.

The main objective of the conference is to improve the living standard of the poor people as per the main spirit and spirit of microfinance.

The organizers aim to create an environment to make the microfinance program more effective as the backbone of the rural economy and to encourage the youth members to develop entrepreneurship and to promote sustainable microfinance practices by making all the stakeholders responsible and accountable.

According to the organizers, the conference is expected to increase mutual understanding and collaboration among the microfinance members through the exchange of experiences, enhance knowledge and learning as well as contribute to sustainable development of microfinance sector, promotion of entrepreneurship and inclusive economic growth.
