Kathmandu. Finance Minister Rameshwor Khanal has said that the House of Representatives election scheduled for March 4 would be held on the scheduled date. Addressing a programme organized to hand over the land of Ram Kumar Sharada Uma Prasad Murarka Provincial Hospital in Lahan, he said the government was fully prepared to hold the election.
“The government has created an environment conducive for the election and I urge the general public not to be misled by anyone’s rumour and rumour,” he said. ”
Stating that the incumbent government was formed after the Genji movement, he said the main responsibility of the government was to hold the election. He expressed the belief that the country’s economy would gradually return to normal after the elections.
Stating that the land registration process of the hospital which had been stalled for 47 years has been completed recently, he said that the government formed after the Genji movement had fulfilled the wishes of the Murarka and Sharada families by waiving the profit tax of Rs 12.4 million in 47 days.
