Super Khudi Hydropower to issue IPO

. KATHMANDU: Super Khudi Hydropower Company Limited (SGHPL) is going to issue initial public offering (IPO) from January 5.

} The company is going to issue shares to the locals of the project-affected areas and the Nepalis who are in foreign employment with labor permit.

The company is issuing 20% of the issued capital of Rs 1.TAG_OPEN_div_24 55 billion i.e. 31 lakh units of shares worth Rs 310 million at the rate of Rs 100 per share.

The company is issuing 15,TAG_OPEN_div_22 50,000 units of shares worth Rs 155 million to the locals of the project-affected areas. Out of the total offered shares, 40% i.e. 620,000 units will be issued to the locals of Marsyangdi Rural Municipality ward 2 and 3 of Lamjung district while the remaining 60% will be issued to the locals of ward no. 1, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8 and 9 of Marsyangdi Rural Municipality.

Global IME Capital has been appointed as the issue manager for the IPO issuance.TAG_OPEN_div_20 The interested bidders can bid from Prabhu Bank, Global IME Bank, Agricultural Development Bank and Prime Commercial Bank and Himalayan Bank’s Bhulbhule branch.

Similarly, a total of 1 TAG_OPEN_div_18 55,000 units of shares worth Rs 15.5 million will be issued to the Nepalese who are abroad with labour permit. Nepalese who are in foreign employment can apply for the shares from the banks and financial institutions licensed by the Securities Board of Nepal and My Shares.

Applications can be place for minimum 10 units and maximum 1,TAG_OPEN_div_16 000,000 units. Locals of the project-affected areas can apply till January 6. If the application is not received as per the demand within the stipulated period, the application can be submitted till February 21.

Similarly, Nepalese who are in foreign employment can apply till January 10.TAG_OPEN_div_14 If the application is not received as per the demand within the stipulated period, the application can be submitted till January 6.
