Kathmandu. KATHMANDU: The Non-Resident Nepalis Association (NRNA) and the Asian International University (AIU) jointly conducted the selection examination under the MBBS Scholarship Programme (MBBS).

A total of 90 students had appeared for the examination held at the Institute of Engineering (IOE), Pulchowk Campus, Lalitpur.

NRNA President Mahesh Kumar Shrestha and Women Vice-President Rojina Pradhan reached the examination center to congratulate the examinees before the examination.

Under the program, NRNA will provide full scholarships to two Nepali students for 6 years MBBS studies in Uzbekistan. The selection test is based on the syllabus of Medical Education Commission.

On the occasion, Dean of Asian International University, Dr. Dr. Kishan Bhandari said that he is happy to contribute to the health sector of Nepal by providing medical education to Nepali students.

President of Nepal Medical Association Anil Karki was also present on the occasion.

According to NRNA, the interview process will be conducted after the results of the written examination are published and the names of the 2 students finally selected will be made public through a press conference.
