Kathmandu. The United Nations Security Council will hold an emergency meeting on Venezuela on Monday.
The current presidency of the Security Council gave this information on Saturday. Khadija Ahmed, a spokeswoman for the Somali Permanent Mission, said the presidency would hold an emergency meeting at 10 a.m. on Monday. Somalia holds the presidency of the Security Council for the month of January.
Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro and his wife were detained in Venezuelan President Caracas on Saturday, according to reports.
