Kathmandu. On Thursday, the last trading day of the week, there was a slight improvement in the stock market. Although the stock market rose moderately on Thursday, the volume of transactions decreased compared to Wednesday.

Today, the NEPSE index increased by 4.59 points to close at 2,TAG_OPEN_span_12 640.54 points. Likewise, the Sensitive Float Index has increased by 0.92 points, while the Float Index has increased by 0.45 points and the Sensitive Float Index has increased by 0.35 points.

Shares worth Rs 4.90 billion were traded on Thursday. The transaction amount is lower than on Wednesday. Shares worth Rs 5.17 billion were traded on Wednesday.

Out of 13 sub-groups, the index of seven sub-groups increased on the day. However, the index of the remaining 6 sub-groups decreased. The indices of banking development bank, hotel and tourism, hydropower, life insurance, production and processing and non-life insurance sub-groups increased on the day.

Shares of Saanvi Energy were the top gainers today, up 8.16 percent. Similarly, the share price of SY Panel Nepal has increased by more than 5.5 percent today.

On the basis of transaction amount, SY Panel Nepal is in the highest position today. Today, the company’s shares worth Rs 20.06 crore were traded on the day.
