Kathmandu. Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB) has fixed the exchange rate of foreign currency for today. According to the fixed exchange rate, the value of the US dollar has reached an all-time high. According to the exchange rate, the buying rate of one US dollar has been fixed at Rs 145.09 and the selling rate has been fixed at Rs 145.69.
Similarly, the selling rate of Euro 1 has been set at Rs 169.59 and the selling rate of UK pound Sterling 1 has been fixed at Rs 194.51 and Rs 195.31 respectively.
The buying rate of one Australian dollar has been fixed at Rs 97.32 and the selling rate of one Australian dollar has been fixed at Rs 104.49 and the selling rate of one Canadian dollar has been fixed at Rs 104.92.
Similarly, the buying rate of Japanese Yen 10 was Rs 9.18 and selling rate was Rs 9.21, the selling rate of Chinese Yuan 1 was Rs 20.82 and Rs 20.90.
According to the central bank, the buying rate of Thai Barn 1 is Rs 4.62 and the selling rate of UAE Dirham is Rs 39.50 and the selling rate is Rs 39.67, the Malaysian Ringat 1 is Rs 35.76 and the selling rate is Rs 35.91. The selling rate of Swedish kroner 1 has been fixed at Rs 15.74 and selling rate of Rs 15.81 and Danish kroner 1 at Rs 22.56 and Rs 22.66.
According to NRB, the buying rate of Hong Kong Dollar 1 is 18.60 rupees and the selling rate is 18.68 paise, Kuwaiti Dinar 1 is 474.46 paise and the selling rate is 476.42 paise, Bahrain Dinar 1 is 384.85 and the selling rate is 386.44 rupees. Similarly, the selling rate of Rs 100 has been fixed at Rs 160 and Rs 160.15 respectively.
Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB) has stated that the exchange rate can be revised at any time as per the need. However, the exchange rate fixed by the commercial bank may vary and the updated exchange rate will be available on the central bank’s website.
