Kathmandu. The Election Commission (EC) has directed the Election Commission (EC) to investigate into Durga Prasai on the charge of spreading misinformation regarding the recognition of Nepali Congress Special General Convention. The Election Commission has sent a letter to the Cyber Bureau under the Nepal Police Headquarters directing it to carry out necessary investigation.

The EC has claimed that Prasain had disseminated misleading information claiming that he had taken the party’s legitimacy by paying money to the EC.
