Kathmandu. National Life Insurance Company (NLIC) has organized MDRT felicitation and training program. In a program organized at Dushit Thani Himalayan Resort in Dhulikhel, 83 agents who met the target of collection of insurance premiums for MDRT 2026 were honored.

A total of 83 agents including 2 agents in TOT, 4 in COT and 77 in MDRT have been selected and honored under the International Forum of Agents MDRT from all over Nepal.

The program was inaugurated by the company’s Chairman Prema Rajya Laxmi Singh by lighting the lamp on Panas. In the program, the participants were trained by renowned international trainer Kazim Raza with various examples to enhance the professional capacity of the agents in the life insurance business.

Speaking on the occasion, Chief Executive Officer of the company Suresh Khatri said that the role of agents is important in the progress and expansion of the company and some new practices have been started keeping them in the center.

On the occasion, he felicitated all the agents who have achieved the targets of MDRT, COT and TOT by collecting the insurance premium fixed for MDRT 2026.

The company has also incentivized successful agents under its monthly scheme ‘Chase Your MDRT’, which aims to further promote MDRT agent production. The Tinkune branch, which has produced the highest number of MDRT agents, was also honoured.
