Kathmandu. Former deputy speaker Indira Rana Magar from Jhapa constituency no. She is contesting from Constituency 2 of the Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP). The party has decided to field him as the candidate from Jhapa-2 for the upcoming election.

Rana Magar is known as an experienced lawmaker in the House of Representatives and an active social campaigner. She had been raising the issues of women’s rights, social justice and good governance with priority during her time in the parliament.
