Not even 10 per cent capital expenditure in Jumla in five months

Jumla. Jumla has spent only 9.4 per cent of the capital budget in the first five months of the current fiscal year.

According to Mun Bahadur Rawal, Account Officer of the Province Financial Control Unit, Jumla, 15.19 per cent of the total budget has been spent in the first five months of the current fiscal year. He said that only 9.4 percent of the total budget has been spent on capital expenditure.

The government has allocated a budget of Rs 1.11 billion for the current fiscal year 2082/83. Out of the allocated budget, the highest amount of Rs 91.1 million has been spent on the total budget of the Infrastructure Development Office, Jumla. According to the Province Financial Control Unit Office, Jumla, the overall financial progress of the office was 19.33 percent. Out of the budget, the capital budget has been spent less than the current budget.

According to the Karnali Province Financial Comptroller Office, the expenditure of the province government has been low due to the damage to the structures of the province government due to the genji exhibition held on September 7 and 24, the provincial government agencies have not been able to function properly and the budget has not been implemented.
